Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for 8-9 month Contract job with a client in Irving TX (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Manufacturing/Aerospace industry is a must.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $60/hour

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Seeking a hands‑on Security Engineer to configure and optimize audit logging and alerting across Microsoft GCC High, Cisco Duo (FedRAMP), and Solar Winds SEM environments.
• This is a project‑based engagement focused on implementation, tuning, and documentation.

• Set up data connectors and alert rules in Microsoft Sentinel.
• Tune alerts and configure incident workflows.
• Enable authentication and admin audit logs in Cisco Duo.
• Configure policy alerts and log exports.
• Configure log ingestion and correlation rules in Solar Winds Security Event Manager.
• Enable out‑of‑the‑box templates and alerting.

• 5+ years security engineering experience
• Strong GCC High & SIEM configuration experience
• Experience with FedRAMP logging environments
• Hands‑on alert tuning and log integration experience
• Education:
  
  Degree not required; experience preferred.
