We seek a highly skilled and motivated data analyst to support business initiatives by identifying and analyzing data, driving process improvements, and eliminating defects. Key Responsibilities- Partner with compliance leaders to create key performance indicators and new measurement methodologies.
- Understand data sources and pull necessary data to drive decision‑making processes.
- Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Automate reporting for weekly business metrics and identify opportunities to automate and scale ad‑hoc analyses.
- Automate existing manual work streams through dashboard development, ensuring data feeds the right systems to support business decisions.
North American Surface Transportation Compliance is a dynamic, complex team focused on maintaining compliance of Amazon's 3P Relay network through disruption management, insurance & regulatory compliance, BASIC & safety compliance, and adherence to Relay Program Policy.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business or an analytical discipline.
- Experience gathering business requirements, using industry‑standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analyst, conducting analysis, data mining, database querying, and dashboard development (including Quick Sight).
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and data presentation) and interpersonal skills to engage both business and technical teams.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role.
- Advanced statistical analysis skills using R, SPSS, SAS, Python, or similar tools.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Software development experience.
Base salary ranges by location:
- USA, AZ – Tempe: 23.00–34.00 USD hourly
- USA, GA – Atlanta: 23.00–34.00 USD hourly
- USA, TN – Nashville: 21.00–31.00 USD hourly
- USA, TX – Irving: 23.00–34.00 USD hourly
- USA, WA – Bellevue: 23.00–34.00 USD hourly
