Salesforce Commerce Cloud - B2C Senior Developer

The Technical Lead (TECH LEAD) position is a senior development/supervisory position in the organization. The Technical Lead position corresponds to the Development Technical Team Leader (Team Lead) role on projects, and supervises the day‑to‑day activity of the development team (back‑end developers and/or front‑end developers) and functions as a project team’s most senior applications engineer. The Technical Lead reports organizationally to the Development Manager;

however, he or she partners functionally within project teams, working under the direction of the Technical Architect (TA), the Project Manager (PM) or Application Coordinator (AC). The Technical Lead can be involved in sprint planning, running daily scrums, performing code reviews, and communicating with team members on progress and roadblocks.

On projects of smaller size and simple‑to‑intermediate complexity, the Technical Lead can be called upon to perform software development and is expected and required to have and maintain the skills of a Senior Application Engineer on the platform.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Applications Consultants have expertise in a specific technology environment. They are responsible for software‑specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client‑specific package‑based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in one or more business processes and technology practices, accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design, responsible for operational and technical issues, translating technical blueprints into requirements and specifications, and may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience, and is seen as an active member within technology communities.
• Qualification:
  
  7‑10 years of experience (minimum 3 years relevant in the role) and Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: SE Level 1 and pursuing Level 2.
• Must have experience in Package Configuration.
• Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
