Position: JUNIOR InfoSec Security Engineer (Chandler/Irving/Charlotte)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security industry, is seeking a JUNIOR Info Sec Security Engineer (Chandler, AZ; Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC) to join their dynamic team. As a JUNIOR Info Sec Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: JUNIOR Info Sec Security Engineer

Location: (Chandler, AZ; Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC)

Pay Range: $40-$45/hr

What's the Job?

• Prepare and maintain security baseline configuration documents aligned with industry standards such as STIG and CIS benchmarks.
• Manage changes and updates to existing baselines and create new ones as needed to ensure security compliance.
• Verify Jira components for baseline requests and evaluate technologies to determine if a security baseline is required.
• Review evidence supporting the retirement of outdated baselines to maintain current security standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, asset class owners, and SMEs for draft reviews and stakeholder engagement.

What's Needed?

• Familiarity with security standards like STIG and CIS benchmarks.
• Understanding of configuration management and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with project coordination and managing multiple reviews using Agile/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
