Position: Information Technology Specialist (APPSW/DATAMGT) with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* The position reports to the Mission System Operation Branch (OITM) , Office of Information Technology (OIT), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
* Responsible for leading efforts to deliver Service

NOW solutions for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and influencing the implementation, processes and on-going support of the Service Now platform.
* Deploys all cloud resources in a DoD environment that requires very high availability. Performs configuration management and disaster recovery tasks throughout the cloud environment.
* Leads meetings and discussions with employees and technical personnel to plan, test, implement, maintain, and modify DCAA IT technical strategies and solutions.
* Coordinates Information Assurance/Cybersecurity incident responses with first responders and Agency Information Assurance (IA) Officer(s).
* Performs day-to-day oversight of IT contractors on services and issues to ensure contracted performance is consistent with terms and conditions of the contract. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

Customer Service- experience maintaining relationships with customers, assessing current information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products and services that are tailored to meet customer needs.

Oral Communication- briefing mid-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of technical information to a non-technical audience. Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address complex information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources that provide a number of potential solutions. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, you must have one year specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level.

Specialized experience is defined as:
Designing, planning and managing applications and system integration/migration with a cloud environment; OR administering an enterprise-level IT Service Management (ITSM) platform; OR Proven ability to manage and lead the complete lifecycle of custom automation applications, including their integration with enterprise service management solutions.
