Job Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished Infrastructure Group Manager with strong focus on Block Storage. This position oversees large-scale Storage Area Network (SAN) as well as Software-Defined Block Storage infrastructure worldwide, focusing on availability, performance, capacity, and security, coordinating teams, planning upgrades (Dell/EMC, IBM, Net App), ensuring compliance, and aligning global storage strategy with business goals, often requiring deep tech skills in SAN/SDS‑Block/Linux/X86 hardware, cloud, and data management, plus leadership in complex, international IT environments.

• Strategic Oversight
  :
  Develop and implement global storage strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
• Infrastructure Management
  :
  Manage large SAN environments, Software‑Defined Storage (i.e. Power Flex) including provisioning, zoning, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Build, mentor, and lead globally dispersed storage operations teams.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  :
  Work with network, server, security, and application teams to resolve issues and support business needs.
• Capacity & Performance
  :
  Proactively plan for capacity, monitor utilization, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Security & Compliance
  :
  Implement security patching, access controls, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Vendor & Budget Management
  :
  Oversee third‑party vendors (like logistics/support) and manage budgets.
• This will involve management and leadership over the entire global block storage estate including both software‑defined and legacy storage array technologies.
• Managing a 24x7 follow‑the‑sun operations and support model for delivering seamless storage services to our internal customers.

• Technical Experience
  : 10+ years of progressive and distinguished experience as a senior storage/technical leader in a large (global) enterprise environment.
• Technical Expertise
  :
  Deep knowledge of SAN/SDS Block Storage technologies (e.g., Dell, Net App, Pure Storage, IBM)
  • Operating Systems (Linux and Windows)
  • Fibre Channel (Cisco and Brocade)
  • IP Networking (NVMe‑of‑Fabric and iSCSI)
  • X86 Hardware (Dell and/or HPE).
• Leadership
  :
  Proven ability to lead, set vision, and manage large‑scale operations.
• Problem‑Solving
  :
  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex, multi‑zone issues.
• Strategic Planning
  :
  Ability to create scalable, sustainable operational models.
• Soft Skills
  :
  Excellent communication, cross‑cultural management, and stakeholder management.

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
