Product Management, Assistant Vice President

The Product Developer is a role supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing management of credit products for clients in Wholesale Credit. The role requires a foundational understanding of financial products, markets, and processes. It contributes to product development through research, analysis, and coordination with key stakeholders, applying product knowledge while integrating business insights within a defined area of focus. This role evaluates moderately complex issues, identifying and escalating potential risks and improvements.

Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential to synthesize information from multiple sources and help prioritize product enhancements or support decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with cross‑functional partners. The position involves supporting team initiatives, knowledge sharing and coordination of smaller projects or deliverables, directly supporting broader team goals with measurable impact on client experience, operation efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Develop business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements, innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research, trends and client needs.
• Manage the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle and internal applications, scope product releases, agree and track business priorities, incorporate regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking.
• Create a product vision aligned to business priorities and a corresponding roadmap to delivery.
• Follow market, industry and client trends to own the field and adapt them for application in Citi’s products and solutions platforms.
• Develop plans, prioritize, coordinate design and delivery of products or features to product release, and serve as product champion within the user community.
• Work in close coordination with Sales, Technology, Business Managers and senior stakeholders to fulfill delivery objectives.
• Manage and implement a wide variety of products and solutions.
• Identify solutions ranging across data analytics, reporting, CRM, Trade Workflows and trade processing.
• Deliver direct business results and advise on product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
• Partner with senior team members and leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement solutions.
• Create clear and specific project plans, business and technical requirement documents for product execution.
• Have direct interaction with business managers, technology and sales to understand their long‑term vision, discuss industry trends and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy.
