Wellfit Technologies is seeking an experienced and adaptable
Scrum Master
to support 2–3 Agile teams in a fast-moving, technical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Scrum fundamentals, a technical mindset, and is
comfortable leveraging AI tools
to enhance Agile delivery, team insights, and execution quality.
This role requires someone who can balance facilitation with influence, structure with adaptability, and traditional Agile discipline with emerging delivery models.
Key Responsibilities- Agile & Scrum Leadership
- Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for 2–3 cross‑functional development teams
, ensuring adherence to Agile values, Scrum practices. - Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive team accountability toward sprint goals while maintaining a sustainable, healthy pace.
- Identify, remove, and escalate impediments to keep teams focused on high‑quality delivery.
- Track and communicate Agile metrics including velocity, sprint burndown, flow efficiency, and delivery trends.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., for backlog refinement, sprint planning insights, documentation, metrics analysis, or retrospective synthesis) to improve team efficiency and decision‑making.
- Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to apply AI‑assisted insights while maintaining human judgment and team ownership.
- Support Wellfit’s transition toward BMAD‑aligned Agile practices
, helping teams adopt structured but flexible delivery models. - Encourage experimentation with tools and workflows that enhance predictability, transparency, and delivery outcomes.
- Foster trust, clarity, and open communication across Engineering, QA, Architecture, Product, and Operations.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to align priorities, scope, and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks, and cross‑team alignment in a distributed environment.
- Manage Agile delivery with a strong understanding of software development life cycles
, modern SaaS architectures, and fintech considerations. - Support planning across scope, timelines, resourcing, and risk management without reverting to heavyweight waterfall processes.
- Ensure delivery commitments are met while preserving quality, compliance, and technical integrity.
- Coach teams on effective use of Jira, Confluence
, and related Agile tooling. - Mentor team members on Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and delivery discipline.
- Lead with a hands‑on, servant‑leader mindset—staying close to the work without micromanaging.
- Influence without authority, helping teams improve outcomes through clarity, trust, and consistency.
- 5+ years of direct Scrum Master experience working with technical development teams.
- Experience in SaaS, Fin Tech, healthcare technology, or startup environments preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required.
- PMI‑ACP or SAFe certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence
, and modern Agile tooling. - Demonstrated comfort leveraging AI tools to support Agile delivery, planning, or team insights.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proven ability to guide teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Hands‑on technical background (development, QA, or systems analysis).
- Experience supporting smaller or scaling organizations (under ~500 employees).
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or regulated environments.
- Ability to foster engagement and alignment across geographically distributed teams.
- Experience supporting Agile transformations or evolving delivery models (e.g., BMAD, hybrid frameworks).
