Job Summary

Business Intelligence Analyst Senior – Teema Group. Full-time contract, on-site, Irving, TX, United States.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping how leaders understand and act on data across the organization. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level position for someone who enjoys building clean, scalable data models, translating complexity into clarity, and partnering closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

What You Will Do
  • Design & Build Trusted Data Models: design and implement high‑performance data models using star and snowflake schemas; create well‑structured relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures; ensure models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Develop Impactful Power BI Solutions: build intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports that answer real business questions; use DAX and Power Query (M) for advanced calculations and transformations; implement row‑level security (RLS) and support workspace governance.
  • Own the Power BI Architecture: work across Power BI service layers, gateways, and premium capacities; integrate Power BI with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and enterprise data sources; ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards; optimize performance at scale; monitor and improve report performance and dataset refresh strategies; apply best practices for incremental refresh, query folding, and large datasets.
  • Collaborate and Lead: partner closely with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders; provide guidance on Power BI adoption, workspace design, and governance frameworks; serve as a trusted advisor for BI best practices and standards.
What We Are Looking For
  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree must have 4+ years of relevant clinical or technical application experience.
  • Technical Expertise: advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, strong command of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles, experience with Power BI architecture (gateways, deployment pipelines, capacity planning).
  • Data & Analytics Background: experience with ETL processes, SQL, and data warehousing concepts; solid understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
