We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Senior API Tester with deep expertise in Telecom BSS/OSS systems and experience working with major telcos such as AT&T, T‑Mobile, Verizon, etc. The ideal candidate will be designing, executing, and maintaining API test strategies and automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and performance of telecom services.
Your Role- Design and implement comprehensive API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Conduct Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid Service) testing with strong domain knowledge.
- Execute test design, test execution, and defect management processes.
- Assess test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear status updates.
- 2+ years of experience in API testing.
- Strong hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP API testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Ready
API). - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and CI/CD integration.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools and security validation.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $44,300 – $93,660. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
