Payroll Clerk

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization. If you have a strong background in payroll operations and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for employees while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Manage full cycle payroll activities, including data entry, calculations, and distribution.

- Handle payroll for teams ranging from 101 to 500 employees, adhering to established procedures.

- Administer garnishments and other deductions in accordance with legal requirements.

- Maintain and update payroll records to ensure all information is current and accurate.

- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

- Prepare and submit reports related to payroll activities as required.

- Provide support during audits by supplying necessary payroll documentation.

- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance. Requirements - Proven experience in payroll processing and operations.

- Familiarity with full cycle payroll procedures.

- Ability to manage payroll for medium-sized teams (101-500 employees).

- Strong knowledge of garnishment processes and legal deductions.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address payroll discrepancies.
