The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates. This role will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with managers, identify potential "fit" through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing, and ensure a positive new hire experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from intake through offer acceptance
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, referrals, social platforms, and direct outreach
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Conduct intake meetings to understand role requirements, success profiles, and timelines
  • Provide consultative guidance on market conditions, compensation, and hiring strategies
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate feedback to drive timely hiring decisions
  • Deliver a professional, consistent, and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Communicate clearly and timely with candidates regarding next steps and expectations
  • Extend offers and support pre‑employment processes
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, including EEO, FCRA, and fair hiring practices
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support background checks, onboarding coordination, and documentation
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant degrees or 2 yrs equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator or High Volume Recruiter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain efficiency, work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like virtual interviews
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g., structured, competency based and behavioral)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
  • Experience with ADP Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Familiarity with social media, especially Linked In
