Overview
The Human Resource Business Partner position is a key role that partners with management on business decisions related to people strategy and supports all Human Resource-related activity for the Sales organization. The HRBP builds trusted relationships with leaders, managers, employees and HR Centers of Excellence.
What You’ll Achieve- Interact and engage with all levels of associate population and influence without direct authority across a dynamic highly matrixed environment.
- Directly collaborate with and support Sales Leadership Teams from an HR perspective
- Support, investigate, counsel, and coach in the following ways:
- Conduct investigations on claims received
- Prepare and execute RIFs and involuntary terminations
- Work with managers to create and deliver written disciplinary actions
- Ensure employees receive timely, objective and actionable feedback
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment
- Improve work relationships, employee engagement and morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Partner with managers on delivering and maintaining Performance Improvement Plans
- Support, investigate, counsel, and coach in the following ways:
- Drive and provide feedback to COE’s to continuously improve overall HR initiatives such as an annual merit process, performance management lifecycle, mentoring, recognition initiatives, HRIS reporting, and associate survey reporting.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, applying knowledge of HR practices, principles, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Act as a data‑driven leader, creating routine and ad hoc HRIS reports (e.g., turnover analysis, recognition reports, promotion reports) to support business decisions.
- Manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Conduct exit and stay interviews, document resignation trends, and advise leadership to reduce voluntary turnover.
- Coach employees on problem resolution and constructive conflict resolution.
- Recommend efficient organizational design, coordinate employee transfers or promotions, and advise on resulting salary changes.
- Respond promptly to client and colleague inquiries.
- Partner with the business on special initiatives, organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Learn the business’s core functions, culture, industry and competition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3–5+ years of cumulative HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR Generalist role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; highly motivated and results‑oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, including comfort presenting to senior leaders.
- Ability to analyze data and recommend changes based on the analysis.
- Experience leading programs and projects through to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with standard computer applications (MS Office) and HRIS databases; strong Excel skills.
- Strong ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions.
- Self‑starter with a drive for results.
$89,000 – $165,800 (actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location and applicable employment laws).
