PRN role – 8‑hour shifts (about 3 days a week, roughly 24 hours a week). Prefer 8:00–16:30 but flexible; one Saturday each month or every other month 8:00–14:00. Most help needed on Mondays and Fridays.

The Mammography Technologist II performs advanced breast imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, under general supervision of a radiologist.

• Perform high‑quality breast imaging procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients: identify service requirements, ensure correct exam on correct patient, establish rapport.
• Prepare patient and area for procedure: positioning, adjusting devices, setting exposure factors.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety, infection‑control, drug and radiation policies.
• Maintain equipment and work area quality; collaborate with engineers and physicists; report issues; assist in inventory.
• Ensure safety by screening personnel per approved policies.
• Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation (requisitions, chart, history, pregnancy status, shielding precautions, consent forms).
• Maintain medical imaging records in appropriate system and per department policies.

• Perform high‑quality breast imaging, including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, ultrasound‑guided biopsies.
• Explain procedures and put patients at ease.
• Provide services in a timely, accurate, cost‑efficient manner, complying with system and regulatory standards.
• Work autonomously without routine oversight.
• Maintain calm and helpful attitude under stress.
• Administer first aid and use emergency cart.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, reviewing patient satisfaction scores, developing action plans.
• Maintain current knowledge and continued education for all age groups.
• Serve as preceptor, training new team members on new services and initiatives.
• Take call, if required.
