Pediatric Associates Family of Companies and MD Kids is excited to announce our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Training Program,
Pedi Plus
, designed for new graduate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). This structured, hands‑on program offers a comprehensive transition from the academic setting to independent clinical practice.
We are seeking candidates passionate about Pediatric Primary Care for our Dallas and Houston locations. Please read the details below carefully.
Over the course of 6–12 months, participants will work alongside experienced clinicians and mentors to gain confidence, refine clinical judgment, and develop the skills necessary to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Program Highlights
- Structured Curriculum:
Blends didactic education with supervised clinical rotations in Pediatrics and Family Practice. - Mentorship:
Each APP trainee is paired with an experienced provider mentor for individualized guidance and support. - Professional Development:
Includes case‑based learning, synchronous and asynchronous sessions, and CME opportunities. - Collaborative Practice:
Opportunity to train within a clinician team dedicated to patient‑centered, evidence‑based care. - Transition to Practice:
Upon successful completion, participants will move into a position within their region. Candidates will be hired into a region and may train in an office that will not be their long term home practice.
Eligibility Requirements
- Recent graduate (within the past 18 months) of an accredited NP or PA program
- Candidates must have strong clinical experience in pediatric primary care.
- Current state licensure and national certification (FNP, PNP, PA‑C, etc.)
- Current BLS certifications (or eligible prior to start date)
- Intermediate Spanish fluency
- Commitment to ongoing learning, teamwork, and professional excellence
- Ability to make a 2 year commitment to work in a full‑time or part‑time capacity for the company.

- Dallas, Texas. Regions will include south Dallas, west Dallas and east Dallas.

East Houston ( will train in our Harrisburg office)
