Business Analytics Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location. The role will manage and execute fraud analytics and strategies supporting Citi’s North American and global credit card and retail bank businesses, leveraging data to identify and mitigate fraud across the entire fraud lifecycle.

• Design and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate fraud attacks including application, synthetic , account takeover, and new sophisticated schemes.
• Partner with Fraud Policy, Operations, and other stakeholders to align business and technology direction for fraud impacts.
• Leverage advanced analytics to derive patterns, trends, and insights, and perform risk/reward trade‐off analysis.
• Own and manage fraud rules, scores, detection strategies, risk appetite execution, POS interdiction strategies, and defect analysis.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide strategy recommendations and implement mitigation actions.
• Build relationships within and outside the Fraud organization to ensure timely execution of portfolio priorities.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve controls and governance.
• Generate and manage regular and ad‑hoc reporting for monitoring and trend identification.
• Mentor and train junior employees on domain knowledge and fraud mitigation processes.
• Work on a telecommuting/hybrid schedule within a commutable distance from the worksite, per Citi policies.

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related quantitative field plus 2 years of relevant analytical experience; or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience.
• Experience leveraging SAS, Python, and SQL to extract, transform and analyze complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data wrangling and manipulation.
• Ability to perform large‑dataset analysis to identify patterns and develop actionable strategies.
• Data visualization and reporting using Tableau, Excel Pivot, and other tools.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including descriptive statistics, regression, clustering, decision trees, anomaly detection, and trend analysis.
• Model performance evaluation and bias‑variance trade‑off identification.
• Experience with UNIX command‑line tools for system administration and data management.
• Senior managerial experience in analytics or related domains is preferred.
