Senior Finance Manager; Manufacturing

Our client is a large Dallas Area Manufacturing Firm seeking to add a Senior Finance Manager whom will be responsible for running Financials (including but not limited to:
Reporting/Accounting/Financial Projects/GAAP Compliance/Accounting Policy and special project under CFO (newly created role due to growth). Ideal individual must possess a proven track record of scaling and refining accounting/finance function for rapidly growing firm.

Reporting directly to the CFO, firm is seeking highly motivated Finance/Accounting professional who will be asked to lead Finance/Accounting process, driving innovation, creativity, and execute and adapt to ever evolving role.

• Oversee and lead the companies financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, auditing and financial operations
• Provide financial analysis to executive committee in support of strategic financial decisions such as new product pricing and profitability
• Implement new accounting standards adhering to GAAP compliance with regulations
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Monitor issuance of new accounting pronouncements, assessing impacts and planning related implementations for those standards, and evaluating existing accounting policies to update for process change or new business requirements.
• Create comprehensive monthly reporting package covering company financials and firmwide KPIs at enterprise and departmental levels
• Manage all aspects of the monthly close process including revenues, expenses, T&E, equity, taxes, as well as KPI’s and metrics
• Monitor, analyze and interpret FASB guidance on new accounting standards in addition to provide technical guidance on material and complex transactions
• Develop and drive necessary financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, and play a leading role in directing change initiatives and process improvements
• Create executive presentations of financial results for review with senior executives
• Support external audit engagements including managing and coordinating with auditors and external service providers, and preparation/review of audited financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting System/system implementation
• In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
