We are currently seeking a Tax Associate for our Corporate Tax Department in Irving, TX.

- Timely prepare various monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings as assigned:
Sales and Use Tax, Gross Receipts Tax, Annual reports, etc. - Assist with income tax compliance (including but not limited to preparation of Joint Venture income tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimates, FBARs, etc.)
- Maintain and oversee various state registrations
- Responsible for mailings or administration of income tax and sales use tax compliance, as needed
- Prepare non‑income/non‑sales/use returns as assigned (e.g., CA Environmental, Occupational)
- Assist Director in federal and state income and/or sales and use tax audits
- Tax research projects as they arise
- Handle oral and written correspondence from field personnel
- Work with state and local taxing authorities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related degree preferred
- Entry‑level 0 to 2 years of tax experience working in a Corporate Tax Department or Public Accounting Firm
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word
- Possess a high degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to details
- Strong organization and time‑management skills, including ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with other departments
- Comfortable with hands‑on environment and a self‑starter
- Willingness to learn and improve current processes
