We are currently seeking a Tax Associate for our Corporate Tax Department, in Irving, TX.

Timely prepare various monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings as assigned:
Sales and Use Tax, Gross Receipts Tax, Annual reports, etc.Assist with income tax compliance (including but not limited to preparation of Joint Venture income tax returns, extension, quarterly estimates, FBARs, etc)
Maintain and oversee various state registrations
Responsible for mailings or administration of income tax and sales use tax compliance, as needed
Prepare non-income/non-sales/use returns as assigned (i.e. CA Environmental, Occupational)
Assist Director in federal and state income and/or sales and use tax audits
Tax research projects as they arise
Handle oral and written correspondence from field personnel
Work with state and local taxing authorities as needed
Timely prepare various monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings as assigned:
Sales and Use Tax, Gross Receipts Tax, Annual reports, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related degree preferred
Entry-level 0 to 2 years of tax experience working in a Corporate Tax Department or Public Accounting Firm
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word
Possess a high degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to details
Strong organization and time management skills, including ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with other departments
Comfortable with hands-on environment and a self-starter
Willingness to learn and improve current processes
