Our client, a rapidly growing organization in Irving, Texas
, is seeking a dynamic Senior Staff Accountant to join their team on a Direct Hire basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the company's financial operations and growth.
- Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
- Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, plus profit-sharing bonus potential.
You’ll be integral to the smooth and accurate execution of the monthly close and financial reporting processes.
Your responsibilities will include:- Financial Review: Diligently review the General Ledger and various financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Reconciliations: Prepare and execute timely bank and balance sheet reconciliations
. - Billing & Allocation: Prepare invoices and allocation schedules for complex consolidated billings.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post routine and non-routine journal entries
, including those for depreciation, amortization, and accruals. - Month-End Close: Actively participate in the month-end close process
, including identifying and investigating financial anomalies and preparing necessary correcting journal entries
. - Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization to address financial inquiries and resolve outstanding accounting issues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
. - Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in an Accounting or Finance environment.
- Technical
Skills:
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
, including required expertise with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
. - Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and financial explanation.
