Director of Accounting

* LOCATION:

** This role reports directly to the Controller in a high-growth pet care innovator, poised to transform how families access trusted pet services nationwide.

Support all accounting functions for our 4-Wall Business, encompassing owned-and-operated pet care facilities with responsibilities including revenue recognition, cost of services, inventory management, lease accounting under ASC 842, and multi-location consolidation.

Support the Controller in the management and completion of the annual audit of the financial statements and the 401k plan

* Education & Experience:

Deep technical accounting experience

Experience accounting for retail/hospitality operations or multi-channel ecommerce platforms private-equity/start-up experience preferred
