We’re hiring an Senior Accountant to join our team at Flynn Hospitality’s corporate offices in Las Colinas. If you’re passionate about hospitality, driven by results, and ready to lead with purpose — we want to meet you.
What You’ll DoAs the Senior Accountant, you’ll lead day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a hands-on approach to full-cycle accounting operations.
- Oversee the general ledger, month-end close process, and preparation of accurate financial statements.
- Manage bank reconciliations.
- Lead the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts; collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and licensing renewals.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner across departments to ensure alignment and fiscal responsibility.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including the collection of necessary documentation.
- Review internal accounting processes; identify and implement improvements and efficiencies.
- Build and deliver financial presentations, dashboards, and reporting tools for executive leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, but not required).
- Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience (hospitality exp. strongly preferred.)
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, or similar ERP systems).
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
