Senior Staff Accountant (Direct Hire) - Hybrid Schedule

Our client, a rapidly
growing
organization in
Irving, Texas
, is seeking a
dynamic Senior Staff Accountant
to join their team on a
Direct Hire
basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the company's financial operations and growth.

  • Location:Irving, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
  • Compensation:$70,000 - $85,000 annually, plus
    profit-sharing bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be integral to the smooth and accurate execution of the monthly close and financial reporting processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Review:Diligently review the
    General Ledger
    and various
    financial reports
    to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconciliations:Prepare and execute timely
    bank and balance sheet reconciliations
    .
  • Billing & Allocation:Prepare
    invoices and allocation schedules
    for complex consolidated billings.
  • Journal Entries:Prepare and post routine and non-routine
    journal entries
    , including those for depreciation, amortization, and accruals.
  • Month-End Close:Actively participate in the
    month-end close process
    , including identifying and investigating financial anomalies and preparing necessary
    correcting journal entries
    .
  • Cross-Functional Support:Collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization to address
    financial inquiries
    and resolve outstanding accounting issues.

Required Qualifications (What You'll Bring)

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting or Finance
    .
  • Experience:2+ years
    of progressive experience in an Accounting or Finance environment.
  • Technical

    Skills:


    High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    , including required expertise withV-Lookups and Pivot Tables
    .
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    for effective collaboration and financial explanation.
