Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We are investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to increase adoption of energy efficiency and clean electrified heating technologies, integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, and support electric vehicle charging infrastructure across our customers. Over the next 5 years, we plan to invest over $600 million to incentivize customers to adopt clean, electrified heating technologies, like air-source and ground-source heat pumps.
Responsibilities- ensure all customers (from single-family homes to large commercial buildings) receive a service-capacity site assessment before participating in the Companys incentive programs
- facilitate and accelerate any electrical service upgrades required to enable heat pumps
They will accomplish this by building relationships with a broad range of teams across the Company; identifying and proposing process improvements to reduce timelines from customer project initiation to completion; leading implementation of change initiatives by partnering with Electric Operations, Engineering, and Construction teams; and establishing actionable reporting metrics to track progress.
