Job SummaryThe Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a multi‑disciplined team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government, and commercial markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our strong growth.
Responsibilities- Design electrical systems including lighting and power.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Develop electrical system design calculations.
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
- Perform QA/QC design work.
- Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Complete code compliance research.
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations.
- Proficient in Revit and MS Office.
- Experience with complex institutional projects.
- LEED experience; certification desired.
- Knowledgeable with codes, standards, and design guidelines.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with organizational skills, ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
- Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team.
- Minimum of 6 years electrical design experience as a registered engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license; PE preferred.
