- Perform basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center.
- Safely assist in providing emergency monitoring and response to various abnormal conditions with supervision, utilizing emergency operating procedures (EOPs).
- Perform daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
- Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work and comply with all physical security procedures and policies.
- Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration.
- Support electrical infrastructures throughout data center campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones.
- Experience with electrical systems in a high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or related fields.
- All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
- Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Experience with Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
- Experience with Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of one source.
- Experience with PDU shutdown for power meter replacement.
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS).
- Experience with system control panel preventative maintenance.
- Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance.
- Electrical Worker qualification (preferred).
- Previous data center experience (bonus).
- Entry-level to senior
