Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated MS Spanish (Dual) Teacher for the school year at Houston Middle School. This is a full-time, in-person position responsible for delivering quality education in Spanish and supporting student development across various domains.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Texas teaching certificate for the assigned subject/level
- Completion of Texas Reading Academy (Elementary)
- ESL Supplemental Certification (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of student teaching or approved internship.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and adapt to diverse student needs.
This role requires effective communication skills, emotional resilience, and physical ability to perform duties including prolonged sitting, standing, and occasional light lifting. The position is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor activities and travel.
Other DetailsThis is an in-person position. Work from home is not permitted unless explicitly approved by the Superintendent.
