Laser Care Eye Center – DFW, TX
We are seeking an Optometrist to join our growing ophthalmology practice. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are excited to hear from you!
Job Details- Perform annual eye exams and contact lens fittings
- Diagnose and treat ocular conditions
- Conduct LASIK and SMILE consultations alongside consultant
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists in a surgically driven practice
- Work with a dedicated team and the latest diagnostic technology
- Alternate weekend call schedule with other doctors for the office’s established patients
- Be the leader of your assigned office and staff
- Encourage referral network of physicians and optometrists for surgical candidates
- Encourage patient follow up and referrals
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
- OD licensed in Texas (or eligible) - Current
- DEA License - Current
- Excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented surgical practice
- Team-oriented with strong communication and clinical skills
- Knowledge of EMR - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, including test results and any recommended follow-up care
- Knowledge of billing and coding with commercial insurance
- New grads and experienced ODs encouraged to apply
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
