Why This Role MattersThe Social Media Specialist plays a critical role in elevating Prime Source’s brand voice across digital platforms. This position owns the strategy, execution, and performance reporting of our corporate and brand social media presence.

This is a high-visibility role ideal for a hands-on content creator who can both design and deliver — from video editing and graphics production to data-driven reporting and optimization.
Position SummaryPrime Source Building Products is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to lead the creation, execution, and performance reporting of our social media channels. This role will manage organic and campaign-based content across Prime Source corporate channels as well as brand channels including Grip-Rite, Pro-Twist, and support of our Outdoor Living portfolio.
The ideal candidate blends content strategy with hands-on production — bringing strong skills in video editing, graphic design, and copywriting — to deliver engaging, brand-consistent content across Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and You Tube. This role requires both creative execution and analytical thinking to ensure social media efforts drive awareness, engagement, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Own day-to-day management of social media channels for Prime Source Building Products and its brand portfolio
- Plan, create, and publish content aligned with brand voice, campaign priorities, and business objectives
- Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content for social platforms
- Design social graphics, templates, and visual assets that maintain brand consistency
- Build and manage content calendars across multiple brands and audiences
- Engage with online communities by monitoring comments and messages and fostering active conversations
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with brand, product, sales, and marketing teams to translate initiatives into compelling social storytelling
- Stay current on platform trends, best practices, and emerging content formats
- Support paid social campaign execution in partnership with the digital marketing team
- 2–4 years of hands-on social media management experience for brands or agencies
- Proven experience managing multiple brand social accounts
- Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and You Tube
- Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools)
- Graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders
- Experience in building products, construction, or B2B industries is a plus
Physical Requirements
- This position is based in Irving, Texas (Global Support Center environment).
- Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting and computer use.
- Occasional travel may be required for brand events, site visits, or content capture.
