Development Analyst

SUMMARY:

This role's primary purpose is to support the Development department (Real Estate, Construction, Energy, Engineering, and Facilities) through analytics for store development, revitalizations and asset planning. Specifically, the development analyst will create, automate, and maintain site level reporting and analyses, which drives decision making in the Department.

• Assist in the development of scalable and sustainable reporting tools in support of Development strategies. Enhance quality of existing reports and tools leveraging available resources
• Creates and provides ad hoc reporting and analyses to senior team members, management and other cross-functional partners as requested. Examples include creating and maintaining a reporting system to track and analyze the financial performance of Real Estate initiatives
• Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation. Assist with solution development and implementation
• Assist with decision making on strategic revitalizations and key investment opportunities across the real estate portfolio through prioritization-based analyses
• Assist in strategic, cross-functional conversations across the company with the goal of asset planning alignment

• Bachelors/4-year degree
• Relevant
  
  Work Experience:
  
  2+ years

• Strong MS Excel skills
• Data management, visualization (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.), and querying skills (SQL or similar tools); statistical modeling skills in R or Python are a plus
• Understanding with GIS tool(s) are a plus
• Critical thinking and heavy data analytics abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and often ambiguous environment
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner to key stakeholders
• Self-starter who can take initiative when needed and has the ability to solve problems independently
• Attention to detail with superior organizational skills, passion for driving change, and a keen curiosity
