Builders Internship Program - Homebuilding - Land

Program Summary

Lennar’s Land Internship Program is a 10‑week paid internship beginning in June for rising college seniors. Participants apply classroom knowledge to real‑world projects and challenges, develop essential interpersonal and technical skills, and work alongside seasoned professionals. The program includes onboarding, hands‑on training, and team‑building activities. All positions within the Future Builders Program are temporary and do not guarantee future employment with Lennar after completion.

Upon program completion, the company may offer high‑performing interns a full‑time position in similar roles based on performance and business needs.

• Assist with land development projects from permitting approvals and construction to community turnover
• Support the supervision and scheduling of subcontractors and consultants for day‑to‑day operations in the field
• Participate in the delivery of new projects according to construction schedules, contract documents, land development budgets, environmental studies, and reports

• Current junior working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating within 2 years (preferred)
• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, architecture, business, or a similar field
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and customer service skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

This primarily sedentary office position requires work in excess of eight hours per day in a confined office setting, with the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity for computer use and occasional standing for filing and copying are required.
