Job Summary
Senior Marketing Analyst, Business Analytics is a subject matter expert for C-Shopper customer data insights and the Customer Success resource for assigned Vendors subscribing to the C-Shopper Gateway platform. Externally focused to work directly with Vendor Users and drive usage and engagement for 7‑Eleven Customer Insights. The role has service, data monetization revenue and business impact responsibilities with assigned Vendors within assigned categories.
The analyst demonstrates to prospective and practicing Vendors how to leverage C-Shopper Customer Insights to make better decisions for SEI. The analyst coordinates and conducts onsite and online user meetings, delivers training, coaching and help‑desk support to develop users’ mastery of the C-Shopper Customer Insights.
Location:
Corporate office in Irving, Texas. The individual must reside in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area.
- Owns C‑Shopper’s Customer Insights platform adoption and consumption for assigned user groups, driving high platform usage and stickiness to improve 7‑Eleven decision‑making and customer retention.
- Manages retention and pursuit responsibilities among assigned vendors to meet revenue growth objectives each year.
- Delivers the C‑Shopper implementation, customer product support, and adoption best practices to assigned vendor teams.
- Provides guidance and case studies to user groups that demonstrate real, high‑value insights to present to SEI merchants, vetting user analysis before sharing.
- Acts as the voice of the customer, coaching vendors on supplier opportunities and driving SEI customer‑centric sales and marketing strategies.
- Delivers vendor‑user success processes, including onboarding and ongoing support strategies.
- Delivers ad‑hoc project analytics and presentations to support complex external user needs and supplier commercial projects.
- Defines metrics for measuring program impact, user satisfaction, product usage, and group growth or productivity.
- Builds strong partnerships with client user groups and develops change champions to focus on program objectives and milestones.
- Anticipates and removes barriers that slow or prevent teams from meeting project goals.
- Conducts and reports on user group evaluations and feedback.
- Communicates effectively with other users and teammates to drive adoption and success.
- Continuously reviews market and customer trends to improve the user experience, operational excellence, and user skills and innovative approaches among assigned user groups.
- Presents weekly implementation, operations, usage, and external monetization status to Sr. Manager, Business Development and team.
- Bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred.
- 2+ years of customer insights, market research, or business analysis experience using C‑Shopper Gateway or a similar retailer loyalty data platform.
- Experience analyzing retailers’ customer or POS data and prescribing actions in pricing, promotion, and assortment.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytics methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage an audience with effective, data‑based storytelling.
