ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for building and strengthening agency relationships? Orion
180 is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth and expand our agency network across the states we serve. In this key role, you’ll serve as the primary liaison between Orion
180 and our agency partners—fueling success through strategic recruitment, seamless onboarding, and exceptional relationship management.
- Support Agency Onboarding: Partner with the Onboarding Team to seamlessly integrate new agencies into the Orion
180 platform. - Drive Growth: Promote Orion
180 products to independent agencies to increase premium, policy count, and overall territory performance. - Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain high-impact relationships with decision-makers, producers, CSRs, and support staff to strengthen engagement and loyalty.
- Communicate With Influence: Deliver clear, confident communication—both verbal and written—including presenting to groups through webinars, training sessions, and agency meetings.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide guidance on underwriting guidelines, appetite, and procedures to support agency partners.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Customer Service and Underwriting teams to resolve issues and support a positive experience for agents and policyholders.
- Monitor & Report Performance: Create, manage, and interpret Excel-based reports to track key performance metrics and support strategic decision-making.
- Stay Market-Aware: Keep current with market conditions, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Analyze & Optimize Territory Results: Evaluate performance trends, identify gaps or opportunities, and work with leadership to implement adjustments that drive continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance, mortgage industry sales, or business development.
- Licensing: Active P&C license required, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and processes is strongly preferred.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work after‑hours as needed and travel up to 25%.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading; being able to lift light objects (≤ 25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office‑type objects.
The office environment is fast‑paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule and, in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.

120, USD per year (Irving, TX)
