Staffmark is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant and Procurement Specialist to join our client's growing team in Irving, TX. This position plays a key role in managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and maintaining accurate purchasing and accounting records. Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1st Shift)

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting and procurement activities using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and other relevant systems.
  • Work with management to review, onboard, and maintain vendor relationships, including contracts, amendments, and certifications.
  • Add and maintain product data, pricing, and part information in BC, including serialization, descriptions, and required certifications (FAA 8130, EASA, CofC).
  • Ensure export compliance by verifying ECCN codes, license requirements (NLR), and Schedule B/HTS codes.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to review quotes, inventory, and purchasing needs for regular vendor meetings.
  • Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends and opportunities.
  • Support financial administration, purchasing, and vendor management processes.
  • Communicate effectively via email, reports, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Perform assignments and responsibilities outlined in the company's Quality Manual and related procedures.
  • Submit ideas for process improvements and assist with quality initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Military experience, Associate degree, or equivalent education required.
  • Previous experience in accounting, procurement, or vendor management (not an entry-level position).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Knowledge of export compliance regulations, ECCN codes, and U.S. Commerce licensing procedures.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
