Her Texas is a statewide platform dedicated to advancing women’s entrepreneurship and economic power. We connect, promote, and invest in women-owned businesses and the women who lead them, helping them grow and thrive across industries.
Position Overview:
The Content & Research Volunteer plays a key role in helping us tell the stories of women entrepreneurs and showcase woman-owned businesses across Texas. You’ll assist with researching, organizing, and creating content that highlights women’s contributions to our state’s economy. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys writing, researching, and supporting women-led initiatives through storytelling and digital content.
What You’ll Do:
Research and update our curated lists of woman-owned businesses for our Fork and Femme initiative, city by city.
Draft and help schedule social media posts, blog articles, and newsletters that spotlight women, events, and resources.
Monitor local Texas news for stories about women entrepreneurs and business milestones for features like “She’s Climbing.”
Assist with formatting and proofreading content for accuracy and consistency.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong research and writing skills.
Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Canva, or similar.
A good eye for detail and accuracy.
Interest in supporting women’s entrepreneurship and business growth.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, with an estimated 4–6 hours per week. Virtual position; you can contribute from anywhere.
