Job Summary

This position will provide advanced administrative support to the Executive Director while serving as a liaison to executives, elected officials, city management, Arts and Culture Board members, the general public and media.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, complex events and conference calls
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, informational packets and other documents
  • Review incoming reports and correspondence to determine appropriate course of action
  • Maintain databases, electronic files and financial records
  • Assist with developing, administering, monitoring and coordinating the annual department budget
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible secretarial or administrative assistant experience or equivalent transferrable skills
  • Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products
  • High level of computer proficiency
Schedule

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evening and weekend work required.

Pay

PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $29.47 - $41.52 PER HOUR
