Overview
This position will provide advanced administrative support to the Executive Director while serving as a liaison to executives, elected officials, city management, Arts and Culture Board members, the general public and media. Duties include managing the Executive Director’s calendar; coordinating internal and external meetings, complex events and conference calls; preparing correspondence, presentations, reports, informational packets and other documents; reviewing incoming reports and correspondence to determine appropriate course of action;
and maintaining databases, electronic files and financial records. Duties also include assisting with developing, administering, monitoring and coordinating the annual department budget.
- Associate degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of three years increasingly responsible secretarial or administrative assistant experience or equivalent transferrable skills required.
- Must have excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, advanced knowledge of MS Office products and a high level of computer proficiency.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evening and weekend work required.
PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $29.47 - $41.52 PER HOUR
