Title Clerk (Dealership Experience Required)- Irving

Clay Cooley is currently looking for experienced, organized, and self-motivated professionals for our Titles Department. These individuals must have an eye for detail and good communication skills.
Role Responsibilities:- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the designated titled state. The Title Clerk submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Verifies collected funds and Lienholder paid off information. The Title Clerk checks for accuracy and completion of all application.
- Prepares payoff checks for new and trade-in vehicles. The Title Clerk completes dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
- Signs over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
- Processes/registers all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts, maintaining a log of all contracts processed and mailed.
- Floors stock vehicles as titles are received. The Title Clerk keeps up with all title regulations and fees.
Prerequisites:
- High School Diploma;
College Degree a plus - Dealership experience and knowledge of Automotive Titles is a MUST.
- Moderate computer skill levels (Internet and MS Outlook);
Tekion experience is a PLUS. - Aptitude to transition from one task to another clearly and concisely
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
