AP​/Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced AP/Staff Accountant to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will handle essential accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively within a dynamic team and contribute to month-end close and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

- Assist with cash application tasks to ensure proper handling of payments.

- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed.

- Support month-end close activities, including reporting and reconciliations.

- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to manage invoicing and collections.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

- Provide assistance during internal and external audit processes.

- Handle sales and use tax filings, fixed assets management, and regulatory reporting.

- Contribute to improving accounting processes and workflows. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.

- Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas and Pivot Tables.

- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist team members when needed.

- Knowledge of fixed assets and sales tax regulations is a plus.
