Accountant (Irving, TX)

Maintain the financial tracking of construction projects. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliation, variance analyses, and review monthly financial statements and job cost reports.

Maintain general ledger and ensure timely month end and year end close processes. Work with project managers to analyze cost variances and improve forecasting accuracy.

Monitor and reconcile job cost reports and work-in-progress (WIP) schedules. Manage percent-complete calculations and maintain documentation for project billing. Reconcile subcontractor payables, lien waivers, and retainage tracking. Ensure all direct and indirect job costs are properly coded and allocated.

Requires Masters degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
