Staff Accountant

Overview

Our client in the Irving area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting Department!

The Senior Accountant will have experience in the following.

• Prepare and adjust journal entries for monthly close-outs, in compliance with US GAAP
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Perform GL maintenance and review budgets and trends
• Investigate variances and generate reports for management review
• Assist with special projects including process improvements and year-end audit support

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
