Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Irving, Texas. This role involves managing critical accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the smooth operation of our service-oriented organization. Responsibilities:

- Process and record rent and property tax payments with precision and timeliness.

- Manage utility payment transactions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.

- Conduct reconciliations of accounts to verify the accuracy of financial data.

- Handle month-end closing procedures, including accrual identification and accurate reporting.

- Support compliance efforts related to property management and tax obligations.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and utility providers to ensure adherence to contracts.

- Perform financial analyses to provide insights and recommendations to management.

- Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed to support organizational goals. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a comparable position.

- Proficiency in utilizing accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.

- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

- Capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.
