Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate position supports accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions, including daily, weekly, and monthly duties and special projects related to larger departmental initiatives.

• General ledger maintenance, including reconciliations, entries, and accruals.
• Assist with tax compliance and accounts payable.
• Streamline AP vendor invoices using document capture and OCR software.
• Provide accounting support to multiple branch locations.
• Maintain electronic records and files.
• Support month‑end closing activities.
• Assist with ad‑hoc accounting projects.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting, finance, or corporate department.
• Strong understanding of processes, waste elimination, and delivering excellent customer experience for internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems.
• High proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Experience with CDK Intelli Dealer, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
• Background check and pre‑employment drug testing required.
