• Provide surgical nursing support including anesthesia and kennel care for day surgery and hospitalised patients.
• Deliver nurse-led clinics and consultations, such as second vaccinations, post-operative checks, and nurse clinics.
• Work across two clinics to deliver a varied mix of clinical duties.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.

Our nursing team ranges from Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) to experienced nurses with broader nursing backgrounds. Two clinics operate as official training practices, supporting professional growth. You will be supported by a friendly, multi-disciplinary team including vets, nurses, veterinary students, animal care assistants, and reception staff who work flexibly to ensure excellent patient care.

Clinics are equipped with modern consulting rooms, surgical theatres, laboratories, radiography and ultrasound equipment, and patient warming devices to ensure comfort during procedures.

The four clinics are in Irvine, Kilwinning, Kilmarnock, and West Kilbride (Ayrshire, Scotland). The primary work location is Irvine, with occasional travel to other branches required.

Rota options include 4 long days or 5 shorter days, typically Monday to Friday around 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays.
