Production Planner

Location: Irvine KA11
Department: Production
Reporting to: Production Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join our manufacturing team following the departure of a valued team member. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a production background, including junior candidates looking to develop their career within a supportive and structured environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and products are manufactured to the required standards.

• Planning production schedules and ensuring deadlines are consistently met

• Monitoring and ensuring KPIs are achieved

• Working closely and directly with production lines on a day-to-day basis

• Ensuring all products meet quality and specification standards

• Supporting continuous improvement across the production process

• Background in a production or manufacturing environment

• Junior candidates will be considered

• Experience with in steel manufacturing is highly advantageous

• Strong organisational and planning skills

• Ability to work hands-on with production teams

• Good attention to detail and quality standards

• Supportive approach to training and development

• Opportunity to gain further qualifications

• Clear progression pathway with potential to move into a Supervisor role

• Salary: 34,740 per annum

• Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

• Shift Pattern: Days

• Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

• Pension: 4% employer / 5% employee
