Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistant based at Foxgrove, Irvine.

Hours

From 1 April 2026 the working week will be reduced to 36 hours per week for full‑time staff. This role includes shift work with night shift rotation.

UK Driving Licence / Car Ownership

A UK car licence and ownership is essential.

What you will do

You will be an essential member of the multi‑disciplinary care team supporting young people aged 12 to 18 in the National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service. You will work supervised and unsupervised, exercise initiative and provide care under the direction of senior nurses. The post is permanent and offers a recruitment and retention premium.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required

SVQ3 Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Experience of working with children and young people in an acute or securing setting.
