Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Leader - District Nursing within the Irvine locality of our North Ayrshire District Nursing teams based at Ballot Road
.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the operational management of the community nursing team including the professional and clinical supervision and deployment of staff within the Irvine locality, inclusive of the Complex Packages of Care (Adult) service. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community.

You should be able to provide evidence or personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-graduate qualification in District Nursing or equivalent
  • Post registration experience of working with patients who have complex care requirements
  • Robust staff management
  • Experience of working within a community setting
  • Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to people with complex care requirements
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and leadership
  • Management of wide range of clinical interventions including tracheostomy, supra pubic catheter
  • Able to develop, plan implement and monitor robust care plans

Hours

37 hours per week, expected to work Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment.

UK Driving Licence/Car Access

A UK car licence and car access is essential to this role.
