Overview
Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle; loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles; sorts packages. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceNone
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to work with power and hand tools. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for the type of equipment assigned.
Preferred QualificationsMust be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.
Pay TransparencyThe salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
