Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts automation framework..
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop robust and maintainable test scripts using Python, PyTest and relevant frameworks for scalable and efficient testing.
• Automate CATP test cases across multiple airline domains (Crew, Maintenance, Passenger).
• Work within existing automation architecture and adhere to coding standards.
• Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution.
• Implement UI automation using tools such as Appium, Applitools, Playwright, and Squish.
• Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and Git Lab.
• Conduct API testing using tools like JMeter and POSTMAN to validate backend services.
• Utilize Docker and virtual environments to simulate test scenarios and improve test coverage.
• Execute and troubleshoot test cases on Linux systems using command-line tools.
• Collaborate with AI Experts to validate and implement AI-generated test cases.
• Share test execution results and feedback to refine AI models.
• Conduct unit and integration testing of automation scripts.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, frameworks, and integration points.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in Python, Pytest and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Proficient in UI automation using Appium, Applitools, Playwright, and Squish
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Basic understanding of Docker and virtualized environments.
• Experience with Linux command-line operations.
• Exposure to API testing tools like JMeter and POSTMAN.
• Experience in airline or transportation domain is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
