🔋 Full-Stack Software Engineer – Energy Storage Platform

Our client is building the future of intelligent energy storage for commercial buildings. Their modular battery technology enables safer, more efficient use of traditional and renewable power in dense environments — and their platform is scaling fast.

We're looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to own cloud software, data architecture, and security across a growing energy platform. This is a high-ownership role where you'll make real architectural decisions — not just execute tickets.

• Lead cloud architecture decisions around scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Own database architecture and data models with clear tenant/customer isolation
• Build data pipelines and integrations between cloud services, applications, and embedded systems
• Implement authentication, authorization, and access control using zero-trust principles
• Drive system reliability through redundancy, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with frontend, embedded, and product teams on end-to-end solutions
• Establish engineering best practices for testing, code quality, and deployment

• 5+ years building and operating production backend/platform systems
• Solid relational database experience (Postgre
  
  SQL or similar), including schema design and query optimization
• Cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Security fundamentals — authentication, authorization, least-privilege access
• Proven ability to own systems and make independent technical decisions
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Experience with enterprise or regulated customers
• Data pipelines, analytics, or telemetry platform experience
• Containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code
• Observability practices (logging, metrics, alerting)
